Axial T2 MRI images show fluid-fluid levels within the expansile bone lesion in the proximal humerus.
Enhancement of the septa are seen here and can be seen with aneurysmal bone cysts (last image)
Findings are suggestve of an aneurysmal bone cyst
PEARLS
Aneurysmal bone cysts are primarily seen in children and adolescents ?
Patients may present with pain or lump
FNAC is usually not diagnostic
Metaphyseal lesion, close to growth plate
XRays show thinradiolucent lesion with narrow zone of transition
* Fluif fluid levels can also be seen in GCT and chondroblastomas on MRI
