CASE 10: 19 W anomaly scan

Anomaly Scan - Fetus had persistent bradycardia. Normal 4 chamber view and outflow tracts. Echogenic focus in RV

Findings

Echogenic lesion seen at the base of the frontal horn of the lateral ventricle.

Thickened Nuchal fold also noted with Mild Ventriculomegaly, and echogenic bowel was noted.

IMPRESSION

GERMINAL MATRIX HEMORRHAGE (HYPOXIC ETIOLOGY) MOST LIKELY DUE TO HYPOXIA FOLLOWING CAVB (COMPLETE ATRIO VENTRICULAR BLOCK)
